Client: Any individual purchasing services from Maxarade Artwork via the form of art commission.

Quoted Price: The agreed-upon amount for the commission as provided by Maxarade Artwork.

Sketch Approval: The client's confirmation and acceptance of the initial sketch provided by Maxarade Artwork.

Major Changes: Significant alterations or modifications to the artwork that go beyond the initial sketch approval stage. Such as anything that may involve redoing linework, changing shading/texturing during rendering, removing large pieces which have already been rendered or lined.

Rendering Step: The final stage of the commission process where the artwork is completed with all the details and effects. This may involve refining, shading, and/or texturing colored pieces of the artwork.

Payment Terms:

When working with Maxarade Artwork, the client accepts responsibility to pay a minimum of half of the quoted price before we start working on your commission(s). The remaining half payment must be made after sketch approval.
Acceptable payment methods include Paypal, Venmo, and Cashapp.

Commission Process:

Throughout the commission process, clients will receive regular updates at each step, including the sketch, lines, flat colors, and rendering.

A maximum of two major changes will be allowed after the sketch is approved during the lining and rendering steps. Any additional changes beyond this will incur an extra charge. Maxarade Artwork will inform you if a requested change falls into this category.

Cancellation by Client:

If a client wishes to stop the service, a refund will only be issued if they have paid in full initially. In this case, only half of the payment will be refunded. However, once the rendering step has begun, no refund will be provided. In the case of physical merchandise such as prints, stickers, or keychains clients must return these items in order to receive their refund.

Cancellation by Artist:

The artist reserves the right to cancel the service if necessary. This may occur due to unrealistic demands, unfair treatment, or other reasons. In such cases, the client will receive a full refund.

Rights to Work:

If services are canceled by either party, the client does not have the rights to retain any completed work. It is expected that the client will remove any sent update photos from their devices.

Posting and Credit:

Once the commissioned work is completed, clients are allowed to share it on social media, but please remember to give proper credit. Make sure to tag or mention Maxarade Artwork when posting. Remember, claiming the art as your own is not allowed.

Posting by Maxarade Artwork:

Maxarade Artwork may also share the finished works on social media or this website, unless discussed otherwise. Please note that if you want the artwork to remain completely private, there will be an additional 25% charge.

Commercial Use:

If a client plans to use the artwork for commercial purposes, where they directly profit from it, an additional 100% of the original quoted price must be paid. It's important to disclose this intended use of the artwork. If you are found using the art for commercial purposes without prior disclosure, you will lose all rights to use that work and to commission Maxarade Artwork in the future.

NFT and AI Generators:

Using any works completed by Maxarade Artwork for NFT (non-fungible token) purposes is strictly prohibited.

Feeding art completed by Maxarade Artwork into any AI generators, whether commissioned or not, is also strictly prohibited.
